Activision E3 Premier

Eminem, Rihanna, Usher, Will.I.Am., David Guetta, Deadmau5, Z-Trip, Maynard James Keenan, Jane’s Addiction, Chris Cornell, N.E.R.D., and Rhea all came out to perform at Activision’s E3 preview event at the STAPLES center in Los Angeles.

Z-Trip opened the event to celebrate “DJ Hero 2’s” track listing that features live sets from all-star DJs and in-game playable characters (Grammy winner and multi-platinum selling artist David Guetta, along with progressive house producer Deadmau5).

Tony Hawk even showed up to do a live skate demo with larger than life jumps and over-the-top tricks to celebrate the release of his latest video game, “Tony Hawk: SHRED.” To launch “Guitar Hero: Warrior of Rock,” Jane’s Addiction played “Mountain Song” and “Been Caught Stealing,” while Soundgarden played their hit “Black Hole Sun.”

N.E.R.D. performed “Hot-N-Fun” and “Lapdance”to celebrate Pharrell’s contribution to the soundtrack of “True Crime: Hong Kong.”

However, one of the highlights of the night was when Eminem closed the event with songs “Lose Yourself,” “Not Afraid,” and the world premiere of “Won’t Back Down.” Drummer Travis Barker joined him on stage for the memorable performance.
